Baltimore, Maryland — October 11, 2022 —- Baltimore Entrepreneur, Robert Wallace, will be inducted into The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC) MBE Hall of Fame on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Over the past four decades, the Cherry Hill native has built several successful businesses, including BITHGROUP Technologies Inc., a cybersecurity and IT services provider; Bithenergy, Inc., an energy services and technology company; Baltimore Fingerprinting; and Robert Wallace Media, which includes RobertWallace.com and EntreTeach Learning Systems LLC. He has also authored six books on entrepreneurship, wealth, and faith, and is currently writing two more.
“When I look at him and the things that he’s accomplished, as an entrepreneur who happens to be a minority, as a successful businessman, a man of God and a family man, we’re privileged and proud to call him one of ours,” Sharon Pinder, President and CEO of CRMSDC, said of Wallace on her podcast, HotChat.
CRMSDC is celebrating its 50th Anniversary with a special event being held at The National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC. The Leaders and Legends Celebration will include the induction of 20 minority business leaders with ties to the state of Maryland, which also includes Urban One founder, Cathy Hughes and the late Congressman, Parren J. Mitchell. Those individuals will also be presented with a lifetime achievement award. Mr. Wallace has earned dozens of awards and accolades throughout his career, including a Most Influential Business Leader Award and a Top 100 Minority Business Executive Award, but says this one speaks to the true heart of what he’s dedicated much of his career to: advocating for the success of other minority businesses. “Helping the underdog succeed in building their dreams has been one of the greatest highlights of my career,” Wallace said. “It’s why I started researching successful entrepreneurs when I was at Tuck, it’s why I launched EntreTeach, and it’s why I support organizations like CRMSDC. To be recognized by them is a great honor.”
